Summer in the City Map Promotion

Map Your Way To Columbia Fun This Summer and Win*!

The Columbia Visitors Bureau is excited to announce the launch of Columbia’s official interactive map. The bureau is celebrating by inviting residents (current and former) and frequent Columbia visitors to enter the Summer in the City Contest.

Here’s how the Summer in the City Contest works:

1. Visit the interactive map and brainstorm your ideal summer in Columbia itinerary.
If you were asked to plan an ideal day in Columbia this summer for a close friend, what points of interest would you recommend? Where would your summer day begin and end? What attractions would you visit, and where would you dine?

2. Submit your itinerary using the form below. Get creative and show your Columbia pride!

The Visitors Bureau will pick the top 3 itineraries and post them as an interactive part of the map, with credit to the authors. The 3 lucky winners will receive Columbia Goodie baskets valued at $250. They will also be a part of the interactive map, with their itineraries being accessible from the left navigation on the map homepage.

This contest will run May 25 - July 1, 2007*.
*One entry per household, please. By entering this contest you are granting the Columbia Visitors Bureau permission to use your itinerary for Marketing purposes. Drawing will be held July 2, 2007.
