25th Annual Festival of Gardens

Ready to stroll and take in springtime? Ten residential gardens in the historical Elmwood Park neighborhood, offering a variety of landscapes, will be open during Columbia Green's annual Festival of Gardens. The tour will showcase 10 private gardens and the Roy Lynch Butterfly Garden. The butterfly garden was a recipient of a community grant from Columbia Green.

Elmwood Park was originally the site of the State Fair Grounds, beyond the city limits. Today it contains one of the largest collections of homes built during the early 1900's that still remain in the capital city. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
