The Southern Guitar Festival and Competition (SGFC) is a two-day event that will be held in Columbia, SC. During the festival, two concerts will be presented that will feature up to 10 local and international artists. The Festival will also feature master classes and workshops that are open to the public. During these two days, guitarists from all over the world will have a chance to compete for cash prizes and concert opportunities. The competition is open to the public to attend. Concert times are as follows:

  • Saturday, June 10th, 7 PM: SGFC will present a concert by internationally recognized group Maharajah Flamenco Trio.
  • Sunday, June 11th, 3:30 PM: Concert by Mexican guitar virtuoso Jesus Serrano
  • Sunday, June 11th, 4 PM: Concert by W.E. duo (violin/guitar) from China
