Summer Concert Series Heats Up Finlay Park

The City of Columbia Parks and Recreation Department will be bringing the sounds of summer through August 16 at Finlay Park, located at 930 Laurel St.

The Summer Concert Series will be held every Saturday from 7 to 10 p.m. on the following dates: 

June 7th- Sweetwater Junction- Variety

June 14th- Orquesta Mayor- Latin

June 21st- Second Nature- Beach

June 28th- The Reggie Sullivan Band- Variety

July 5th- "Beach Party" @4 pm- The Episodes- Beach/Motown

July 12- Terence Young and Soul Centric

July 19- Daniel D and Urban Instrumentalists

July 26- Mystic Vibrations

August 2- Daniel Lewis

August 9- Coconut Groove Band

August 16- Horizons

Karaoke Idol will be held every other weekend at 6 p.m. There will be weekly winners for a cash prize and the finals will be held on Saturday, August 16.

Attendees are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs and coolers. All concerts are free and open to the public.
