Learn about the role South Carolinians played in one of the most critical and popular battles of the war. During three days of intense battle, Palmetto State infantry, artillery, and cavalry all participated in major fighting-- many of those brave South Carolinians paying the ultimate price and never returning from Pennsylvania soil.
