Opened in November of 2009, The Corner Store is located in the oldest building in Little Mountain.

This building has a very colorful past, and its construction is indicative of the spirit of small town, southern living from days gone by.  Be sure to check out the unique stone exterior on the southern side of the building.  This stone-work was covered up some years ago with stucco.  The stucco has long since been falling away and now leaves us with a gorgeous facade.

Talk to some of the locals and you will hear that this building is best known as Bowers' General Store.  Souvenirs of the general store days can be seen in the heart pine flooring...  Marks created by meat store equipment, display cases and old doors still show prominently in the beautifully restored floor.

Over the years, the building has also housed beauty shops, gift shops, real estate businesses and construction businesses.  We are pleased and honored to have been able to renovate this building, bring out many of the original details and also provide a charming and unique shopping experience!  Enjoy!
