The Columbia Film Society/Nickelodeon Theater presents the Columbia Jewish Film Festival, African-American/International Film Festival, Native American Film Festival, Latin American Film Festival, and Southern Circuit Touring Filmmaker Series.
The Nickelodeon Theatre, South Carolina's only non-profit, art house theater, is a leading Southeastern arts organization engaging our community by providing thought-provoking film programming, offering media education classes and fostering the creation of new work by providing training and support to media artists.
‘The Nick’ uses a 99 seat theatre in downtown Columbia to screen over 100 films, 362 days each year. The organization hosts special screenings by both local and national independent filmmakers, and hosts the nationally renowned Indie Grits Festival each April.
