The Eclectic House opened in May of 2001. Our goal is to offer unique and "Eclectic" home décor merchandise that are one of a kind pieces that may not be found locally.

The owner, Linda Welton, has always liked to decorate and envision floral arrangements, art, and furniture in homes. Her specialty is to add a little something new to something old and to offer multifunctional ideas for pieces.

She was inspired when she saw the old house on Highway 378 and thought how wonderful it would be for customers to come and browse through such a neat home that has a lot of history for those who have lived in West Columbia. The house might look small, but it has 3,600 square feet of floor space. Patrons laughingly admire how we have used every inch of space available for our merchandise.

As time went by, Linda added many gift items for every occasion and budget. You can find furniture, art, lamps, home accessories, jewelry, handbags, kitchen accessories, baby items, Vera Bradley, florals, fragrances, candles, patio furniture, indoor/outdoor fountains... the list goes on and on.
