Brett Flashnick, the owner and chief photographer/director of flashnick | visuals has more than a decade, of experience working as a professional editorial, corporate, and advertising photographer and cinematographer. He has received national and regional awards for his photography, including first place recognition from Columbia University, Kentucky Press Association, Kentucky News Photographers Association, and the South Carolina News Photographers Association. While in college, Brett won the 2002 College Photographer of the Year award for his sports photography portfolio, and the 2003 William Randolph Hearst Award in the news and sports categories.

Among his clients are the The Associated Press, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, USA Today, The Washington Post, Sports Illustrated, and Golf Digest, BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, Miller-Valentine Group, and the Midlands Authority for Conventions Sports, and Tourism. His photographs have appeared in the pages of Time, Newsweek, Golf Digest, Sports Illustrated, Der Spiegel, National Geographic, People, online at ESPN.com and MSNBC.com, and have been broadcast on CNN’s The Situation Room and Anderson Cooper 360°.
