The Columbia Marionette Theatre (CMT) was founded with a cultural, recreational and instructional purpose. CMT provides puppet shows with puppets ranging from twelve inches to five feet that appear on a thirty-foot stage. CMT can accommodate 300 people per performance. The Columbia Marionette Theatre (CMT) offers birthday parties, field trips, artists-in residencies, Scout Sunday, traveling shows, Puppet Store, Candy Store, The Puppet Society (membership program) and more. All productions are created entirely in-house and each takes several months to create. During a year, CMT reaches approximately 300,000 children.
