Overview

Located on the campus of the University of South Carolina, the observatory offers views of many of the night sky's wonders. Public viewing sessions are held on clear Monday nights year-round beginning 30 minutes after sunset eastern daylight time (approx. March-October) and from 8-10pm eastern standard time (approx. November-March). Special observing sessions may be scheduled for astronomical events.
