Eternal Spring

On May 13, 2010, Keep the Midlands Beautiful unveiled the sculpture, Eternal Spring, in Riverfront Park in the City of Columbia.  Keep the Midlands Beautiful commissioned local artist Greg Fitzpatrick to create the sculpture to mark the organization's twentieth anniversary of providing litter prevention, recycling and beautification programs to the midlands. 

 

The sculpture was made entirely from recycled steel donated by Mid-Carolina Steel and Recycling and is now on display near the entrance to Riverfront Park.
