2108 State Bar and Grill

Overview

With a background in creating food ideas and Southern politics, the co-owners of 2108 State have an eclectic and interesting menu. One of their samplings is the five-alarm Colby jack burger with fried jalapenos, guacamole and black bean spread. More colloquial offerings are the critter fritters with jalapeno tarter sauce and the Grandpa burger with fried egg. If you are in the mood for a lighter meal you may want to try the Asian persuasion salad.

If you need a visual to help find the place, the outside wall is adorned with a vibrant-colored rendering of the Lizard Man. The reptile-human legend emerged from the swamps of Lee County in the latter half of the 1980s.
