COLUMBIA, SC - Local leaders and first responders from across the Midlands will come together Monday, May 9th for an 11:30 am press conference at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center to unveil plans for a 9-11 First Responders memorial featuring two steel beams from New York City's World Trade Center collapsed in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
