Pre-Booking Services

If you are considering holding your event in the Columbia region, make the Convention & Visitors Bureau your first stop. Our sales professionals are ready to simplify the planning process for you. And as always, our services are complimentary. 

Submit RFP: There's no need to call hotel after hotel looking for the best rate. Let us make it simple for you! Our sales professionals can send out a request for proposal (RFP) to participating hotels and provide you with the rates in your own customized proposal packet...and it's complimentary!

Formal Bid Presentation: For your convenience, experienced CVB professionals are always available to make a Columbia Riverbanks Region presentation to your group. It will be our pleasure to send an official invitation from our area leaders to your group.

Post Booking Services

Already booked your event through the Columbia Metropolitan Convention & Visitors Bureau? Our Convention Services Coordinator will be happy to provide services from the following customized for your event. 

Brochures/Materials: Please submit our convention services request form for materials and assistance. Materials may include Columbia Regional Visitors Guides, which are great for stuffing with your event information.

Public Relations/Media Relations: For groups interested in garnering media attention for their event or convention, a public relations guide outlining ways to share event details and information with various news outlets will be provided upon request. Additional public and media relations assistance will be provided at the discretion of the director of communications.

Information Center:  For groups booking 750 rooms or more a night through the CVB, we will set up a portable visitor information center at your request. Your attendees will know where to eat, play and shop as well as what to see and do.

Tours: We can help coordinate tours for your specific needs and work with community tour companies to develop sight seeing programs for your meeting attendees. 

Special Assistance: Need to find a local cater, unique meeting site, entertainment, transportation or registration assistance? We'll be happy to help you find the services you need.
