The Missouri Tigers make their first SEC road trip this Saturday, September 22 - and we're ready to welcome our visiting team to South Carolina and show fans what makes us a hot spot on game days. If you'll be at Williams-Brice this weekend for the South Carolina Gamecocks vs. Missouri Tigers game, keep your eyes peeled for us. (You guessed it! We'll be the ones kicking off the game in 'Famously Hot' gear, welcoming visitors and pumping up our Gamecock fans for another hot season in Columbia, SC.)

MISSOURI TIGER FANS
Visitors, meet us at the entrance gate! We will be handing out fans. We promise you'll find them useful in staying cool -- and you'll be able to catch special deals as local hot spots just for those with fans!

If you're planning your trip, use our game day guide for game day and tailgating information, or read up on things to do in, around and away from the stadium on Columbia (MO) Convention & Visitors Bureau's gameday blog, written straight from our local Columbia (SC) Metropolitan Convention & Visitors Bureau, or MIZZOU Magazine's Columbia, SC feature. From all-star tailgating options (almost always including Carolina barbeque) to things to do while you're here, you'll be filling your stay fast.

SOUTH CAROLINA GAMECOCK FANS
Gamecock students, be on the lookout as we bring back 'Famously Hot' sweatbands for you to sport and show off as you cheer on your South Carolina Gamecocks! Make sure to get into the stadium early to get in the lower stands for a chance to get a sweatband.

Look around Williams-Brice for Cocky, who will be wearing his own sweatband to match you. Snap a picture of Cocky and tweet it with this message 'Hanging out with @Cocky2001! We're getting #famouslyhotandcocky at @UofSC @Gamecockfb in @columbiasc!' By the way, have you voted for Cocky in the Capital One Mascot Challenge?
