I've lived in Columbia for seven years and I can't believe it's taken me this long to 'Get Fed at the Shed' ' The Farmer's Shed, that is. You might have ridden by it a hundred times, as it's right across the street from Lexington High School. It looks, from the outside, like a garden center and produce market ' but that's not even the half of it. Inside I found not only rows of gorgeous yellow squash, fresh strawberries and colorful clay pottery, but also a cozy restaurant. The food was like a hug from mama ' warm and comforting. I got the chicken pot pie, cheesy squash casserole and butter beans. Yum. Save me a seat for Friday when the tomato-cheddar casserole is on the menuâ?¦
