Burger Tavern 77
Burger Tavern is new to the burger game in Columbia but has quickly made its name among the long term players. Burger Tavern also gives customers the opportunity to build their own burger, including the chance to opt for a turkey burger or veggie burger. Henry's Grill & Bar
Mentioned as a Carolina favorite by Southern Living, Henry's is right down Devine Street from Burger tavern. All of Henry's burgers are made fresh with 8 oz. of Angus beef and served on a knot roll. Rockaway Athletic Club
Its name may sound a little deceiving, but this "club" is actually - you guessed it - a beloved burger joint. Keep your eyes peeled on Rosewood drive for a brick building with no signs, it's easy to miss but worth the hunt. Known for their pimento cheese (a southern staple!), Rockaway's serves both pimento cheese fries as a side and a delicious pimento burger that locals rave about.

DiPrato's Delicatessen
Speaking of pimento cheese, you can make your Monday a little better with DiPrato's Monday lunch special - a bacon and pimento cheeseburger. DiPrato's is famous for their pimento cheese, and adding it to a burger with some lettuce, tomato, purple onion and bacon makes it untouchable. Pawley's Front Porch
Pawley's has been featured on "Diners, Drive-ins & Dives" on the Food Network and Southern Living - deservedly. Since then, visitors know not to leave Columbia without stopping at this well-known gem. Pawleys is famous for its delicious cooked-to-order burgers named after cities on the South Carolina coast - such as the Kiawah, Sullivan's, Isle of Palms and Edisto. Guests love trying different burgers like the Fripp Island burger, topped with southern salsa, boursin cheese and a fried green tomato.
