WWE brings the smackdown to Colonial Life Arena in a triple threat steel cage match featuring Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio and Kane. Legendary hall of famer, Arn Anderson, will serve as special enforcer. View ticket information.

Venus Transit Viewing at Melton Observatory

Historic Columbia Foundation Hard Hat Tour at Woodrow Wilson Family Home
Phase 1 of the Woodrow Wilson Family Home rehabilitation is complete. This tour, held the first Tuesday of each month, allows guests the opportunity to visit the site which is currently under restoration and review the significance of this historic house and what is being done to preserve it from additional deterioration. Guests will also learn about the progress made during the first phase of the project then walk inside the house to gain a better understanding of the work that lies ahead. Titanic: The Artifact Exhibit at South Carolina State Museum
On April 15, 1912, Titanic, the world's largest ship, sank after colliding with an iceberg claiming more than 1,500 lives and subsequently altering the world's confidence in modern technology. One hundred years later, the South Carolina State Museum will pay tribute to the tragedy which continues to resonate through Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, where legendary artifacts conserved from the Ship's debris field are showcased offering visitors a poignant look at this iconic ship and its passengers. The Art of Seating: 200 Years of American Design at Columbia Museum of Art
The Art of Seating provides audiences with a unique opportunity to see chair types that usually reside in private homes, withheld from public display. The American Chair Collection, the center of this exhibition, is an amazing and comprehensive private collection of iconic and historic chairs reaching back from the mid-1800s to pieces from today's studio movement. The exhibition provides an opportunity to see readily recognizable pieces alongside those rarely seen by the public. View admission information.

Blooming Butterflies at EdVenture Children's Museum
Visit EdVenture's living exhibit, a 2,500 square foot enclosed habitat designed to showcase the lifespan of over 20 species of butterflies. The exhibit is filled with dozens of species of trees and plants that support hundreds of butterflies from more than 20 different species native to the Southeast. Columbia Blowfish Baseball at Capital City Stadium
The USO will recognize all their dedicated volunteers on June 6, 2012 at Capital City Stadium when the Columbia Blowfish take on the Forest City Owls. The USO supports the troops by providing morale, welfare and recreation-type services to our men and women in uniform. The USO provides a bridge to home for our service men and women, providing them and their families with communications access, entertainment, goods and services, and simple day-to-day comforts. South Carolina is making its 10th NCAA Super Regional appearance in the last 13 years, one of only two schools in the country to have accomplished the feat in that span. Saturday's concert will feature Capital City Playboys with the MoBros. The Riverwalk Amphitheater is located at the corner of Meeting Street and Alexander Road, next to the Gervais Street Bridge. The last concert of this summer series will be held on June 16, featuring Whiskey Tango Revue. Admission is free.

Military Night at the Blowfish Stadium is a Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce tradition, where over 2000 soldiers are treated to baseball, hot dogs and a night of baseball. It's a community and business event sponsored by the Columbia Chamber, City of Columbia, Richland County, Forest Acres, and the Blowfish, with fireworks sponsored by Wells Fargo. Southeastern Piano Festival
at USC School of Music & Koger Center for the Arts

The Southeastern Piano Festival at the University of South Carolina School of Music kicks off its 10th anniversary with a stellar lineup of concerts. Each June the Festival brings together 20 of the best young pianists from around the country for a rigorous program in piano studies. The week's events culminate with the Arthur Fraser International Concerto Competition. The Festival offers nightly concerts by a rich lineup of world-class pianists. With this being a special year, the Festival kicks off with a Piano Extravaganza with one to five pianists performing with the South Carolina Philharmonic.
