FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 1
The latest addition to the Museum of Art is a coveted exhibition and breathtaking collection. 55 works - from pastels to watercolors - fill the museum with renowned names from Monet, Degas, Renoir, Cezanne and Matisse. $15 adults, $12 military/senior citizens, $5 students.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 2
Weekly local farmers' market on Columbia's historic Main Street. Eat breakfast then shop for dinner! Free.

While open on weekdays, the South Carolina State House is now open on the first Saturday of every month. Learn about the history and the people who have made the State House and the state what it is today. Tours run on the half hour of each hour, with the first tour at 9:30 a.m.

Antique textiles are on display at the historic Robert Mills House & Garden. Enjoy this much-anticipated exhibit and then tour the grounds! $6 for adults and $3 for children.

Fun for the family, watch the classic tale of "Beauty and the Beast" as performed by Columbia's marionettes. $5 admission.
