Take in two 'famously hot' festivals we've been waiting all year for
Two major festivals happen this Saturday! Historic Columbia Foundation's Jubilee: Festival of Heritage
honors one African-American family's entrepreneurial spirit and rich history with tours of the family's former home, the Mann-Simons Site
, food, music, art and demonstrations. Just around the corner, the Main Street Latin Festival
will celebrate Latin culture with authentic Latin food, Latin and Caribbean music, art, carnival rides and more. You should check them both out this weekend. Both festivals are free
Catch an outdoor ZOOvie
It's another ZOOvie Night at Riverbanks Zoo
this Friday! Watch Madagascar 3 as the zoo stays open after hours for a fun family movie night (bring a lawn chair!). You also can enjoy an evening walk around the zoo, and even though most animals are tucked away for the night, you might spy an animal or two. Admission is $5.
