The 11th Annual Southeastern Piano Festival returns to Columbia, SC on June 9 - 15, 2013.

Hosted by the University of South Carolina's School of Music, the festival brings 20 young, talented pianists from across the globe for a week of concerts, intensive training and a competition for a final winner. Each night of the festival, enjoy concerts by guest artists and past festival winners. 

You don't have to know C# from Cm, or know that the 88 piano keys range through seven octaves, to enjoy this year's festival. Here's the schedule of concerts open to the public:

SUNDAY, JUNE 9
Piano Fireworks Gala Concert and Opening Ceremony at the USC School of Music
Kick off the festival with a series of performances by USC Faculty, Marina Lomazov, Joseph Rackers, Phillip Bush and Charles Fugo. Purchase tickets online, $5 - 20
6 pm

MONDAY, JUNE 10
Alumni Celebration Concert at the USC School of Music 
Naomi Causby and Micah McLaurin, co-winners of the festival in 2010, return to Columbia to perform an alumni concert. General admission only $5, and under 18 years old is free - purchase tickets online
7:30 pm

TUESDAY, JUNE 11
Rising Star Showcase at the USC School of Music 
Piano performance by winner of the Eighth National Chopin Competition and festival guest artist, Claire Huangci. Purchase tickets online, $5 - 20 and free under 18. 
7:30 pm

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 12
Artist Showcase Petronel Malan at the USC School of Music 
South African concert pianist and festival guest artist, Petronel Malan, has received multiple grammy nominations for her performance as both a pianist and recording artist. 
Purchase tickets online, $5 - 20 and free under 18. 
7:30 pm

THURSDAY, JUNE 13
Artist Showcase Sergei Babayan at the Columbia Museum of Art
Armenian pianist, festival guest artist and winner of the Casadesus International Piano competition, Sergei Babayan will perform at the Museum of Art. Purchase tickets online, $5 - 30. 
7:30 pm 

FRIDAY, JUNE 14
The young pianists will play for the winning title of the Arnold Fraser International Concerto Competition all day at the USC School of Music. The public is invited to watch, admission is free.
10 am - 9 pm 

SATURDAY, JUNE 15
The winner of the Arnold Fraser International Concerto Competition and the festival will be announced at a winners concert at the USC School of Music
7 pm
