Columbia, SC Marathon!  
The second annual Columbia, SC Marathon returns for 26.2 mile of 'famously hot, surprisingly cool' fun. This year, the marathon includes a half-marathon, 5K and a kids marathon to include the whole family.
Marathon, 7:30 am; Half-Marathon, 7:30 am; 5K: 7:35 am; Kid's Marathon, 8:00am

Soda City Market on Main Street
Race you to Soda City! Make sure you arrive to the market a little early to cheer on the runners in the Columbia Marathon - the course runs straight down Columbia's Main Street. Don't worry about parking, the garage on Taylor street is still open, and free.

Impressionism from Monet to Matisse Pay-What-You-Wish-Day at the Columbia Museum of Art
Every Sunday is free in the permanent galleries thanks to Blue Cross Blue Shield, but this Sunday you can get a cheaper visit to the CMA's temporary Impressionism exhibit. Pay-What-You-Wish admission allows visitors to pay any amount to see the exhibition and participate in any Museum activities that afternoon. Admission to this exhibition is regularly $15 for adults.

Part of the 50th Anniversary of the 1963 Civil Rights Movement, the Nickelodeon Theatre airs "Jail, No Bail." The movie is a tribute to the sit-in that introduced a new protest strategy and turned the tables on the establishment, while at the same time reinvigorating the Civil Rights movement nationally.
