Gourmet dinner on the farm  
Farm To Table Event Co. is hosting their January Harvest Dinner at City Roots, an urban sustainable farm. The event features local chefs Kristian Niemi and Travis Rayle, experts in bringing the freshest ingredients to the table in creative and unique ways. Guests will be greeted with a warm, spiced apple cocktail then be able to enjoy artisanal breads from Crust Bakehouse, smoked Joyce Farms pheasant fricasee with pear onions, parsnips, carrots and parsley over lentils, and wood-roasted provencal leg of lamb with maple-thyme glazed carrots and herb-roasted red potatoes. For dessert, indulge in a dark chocolate and almond cake with spiced pear compote and sage-goat cheese chantilly.
