The New Festival Hot Spot
This weekend is full of festivals celebrating barbecue, live music, comic book culture and more! Get your fill of delicious food at the 5th Annual BBQ Cookoff. Rock out to Blonde Redhead at the Columbia Museum of Art. Get crafty and create a costume of your favorite character for Soda City Comic Con!

The New Artistic Hot Spot
Get a dose of Columbia culture this weekend! You can catch Caroline Rhea doing her standup comedy at Harbison Theatre or Katt Williams performing at Colonial Life Arena. You can catch showings of "Marie Antoinette," "Singin' in the Rain," "Menopause the Musical," "The Three Penny Opera," " Puss in Boots" and "Bremen Town Musicians" at various theatres around town. The USC Southern Exposure Music Series on Friday will feature Soprano Tony Arnold and Pianist Jacob Greenbu. Finally, the Columbia Museum of Art and South Carolina State Museum have various exhibits on display such as The Art of Joseph Norman and Julius Caesar: Roman Military, Might and Machines, while Gallery West has Exhibition "Captured: The Photography of Seven."

The BOO Southern Hot Spot
October is here, so get a kick start on the Halloween activities this weekend! Opt for wicked tricks at the Hall of Horrors Haunted Attraction and Terror Falls Haunted Farm or an endearing treat at the Scarecrows in the Garden Exhibit at Robert Mills House & Gardens.
