Honor local veterans with a Solemn Ceremony, Honors and Celebrations activity and free family-friendly brunch and entertainment at the Lower Richland Corridor Annual Memorial Day Ceremony and Celebration. Breaking news! As part of the Blue Star Museums program, both the Columbia Museum of Art and Historic Columbia will be FREE to military personnel and their families all summer, starting this Memorial Day. Finally, have a picnic with the family at Finlay Park or sail around Lake Murray to embrace the start of summertime.

Take a trip down the rabbit hole with dancers from the USC Dance Conservatory, an after-school program for students aged 3-18, as they present Alice in Wonderland. Go the distance with the 9th annual Jailbreak 5K and the Lake Murray Triathlon. Finally, tap your blue suede shoes along with the high-energy Elvis tribute, Rick Alviti.
