The New Festival Hot Spot

Pay homage to a buttery Southern staple at the SC Cornbread Festival. Did you say bacon?! Chocolate-covered bacon, General Tso Bacon and Sweet Thai Chili Bacon... you can enjoy the crunchy, greasy delicacy at the America Loves Bacon Festival. Stay until the last drop runs out at Cream of the Crop Beer Fest, the fizzing top-off to Soda City Suds Week. Do you hear bagpipes? Tartan Day South is a one-of-a-kind, four-day celebration of Celtic heritage including sheep dog herding, birds of prey, a hurling tournament and ax tossing. Vroom, Vroom! Picture yourself cruising in one of Britain's finest wheels at the Carolina British Classic Car Show to finish off the perfect weekend.

The New Sports Hot Spot

Horses, history, hospitality! South Carolina's largest sporting event, the 83rd Annual Carolina Cup is the premier social and charitable event of the season. Swing and shag your way across town at Swingin' at the Big Apple and Capital City Shag Extravaganza VI. Jog the happiest 5K on the planet as you get doused from head to toe in vivid color during The Color Run. Come discover the great outdoors at the Palmetto Sportsmen's Classic. Finally, One Columbia Run is good for the body and the heart as you raise awareness of the need for mentors in our city.
