Experience different cultures this weekend with a number of festivals happening around town. Check out the 38th Annual Jubilee: Festival of Black History and Culture for the reopening of the newly renovated Mann-Simons Site, celebrate diversity and community at the Sofrito and Soul Music Festival, get your fill of gyros and baklava at Columbia's 30th Annual Greek Festival and cap it all off with an authentic German brew at Bierkeller Oktoberfest.
Football season is back in Columbia! Whether rooting for the Gamecocks or the Pirates, the USC vs. ECU game is sure to be an exciting one.
Balance out all the festival and football food with some exercise! Participate in either the Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk Friday evening or the 30th Annual "Dam Run" 10K and 6K Dam Walk Saturday morning.
Finally, wind down with some live entertainment.
