Submit an Event

Thank you for your interest in promoting your event through the Official Columbia, SC Calendar of Events, managed by the Columbia Regional Visitors Center.

Please review our guidelines prior to submitting your event:

  1. Events should be open to the general public. Members only events will not be approved.
  2. Events should appeal to day-trip and overnight visitors.
  3. Events must be held in the Columbia Metropolitan Statistic Area. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Columbia,_South_Carolina_metropolitan_area)
  4. Events that are commercial in nature, such as store sales or grand openings will not be posted. These may be listed in the hot deals section of our website. You may post these through the partner extranet: http://www.columbiacvb.com/partners/extranet
  5. Summer camps will not be posted unless they include overnight accommodations appealing to visitors. The State publishes an annual list of summer camps: http://www.thestate.com/summerfun/
  6. Events must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the event and must fall within 12 months of posting, or your event cannot be guaranteed for posting.

Please fill out the following form in order to have your events considered for listing on our online calendar. If you have questions prior to posting your event or need to update your event, please contact the Columbia Regional Visitors Center at 803.545.0002 or visit@columbiacvb.com.

Please note: Your event will not automatically be added to the calendar once you click "Submit Event" at the bottom of the form. It will first go through an approval process to make sure that it contains complete and accurate information and meets our criteria for posting. Final approval is at the discretion of the Columbia Regional Visitors Center. You will be notified if your event cannot be approved.
