Columbia is in the center of South Carolina, midway between mountains and beaches. Only 10 cities nationwide are served by three major interstate highways, and Columbia is one of them, making us an ideal drive-in destination. Driving to Columbia is a breeze as three interstates - I-20, I-26 and I-77 - intersect the city; and I-85 and I-95 are just a short drive away.
The Columbia Metropolitan Airport always gets "oohs" and "aahhs" when first-time travelers come to our city. The airport is very "southern" with a bright, open and airy feel and rocking chairs throughout the main concourse that make you feel like you've just arrived on grandma's front porch. The message: You're here, now sit a spell and rest a while.
